Monthly employees hired under the collective agreement are entitled to join the collective health insurance for employees of the Technion and the Technion Institute.
1st Generation and 2nd Generation employees are entitled to employer funding for collective employee health insurance only under a basic-tier medical insurance policy.
These employees can expand the components of the policy and add their first-degree relatives to the insurance policy, all as detailed in the policy terms, at their own expense.
Team/ research staff employees (including HSI-rated employees), can join the collective health insurance (at the basic or expanded tier, at their decision) and add their first-degree relatives at their own expense.
